Not everything is neon lights and sounds of car tires on asphalt, and sharp images on fancy slim screens.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>I followed my travel buddy and good friend Lisa back to her parents&#8217; family home in Guangzhou, mainland China for a couple of days. We took the bus north which would bring us to the city closest to her village. The trip took us about three hours.
