It took us everyday 30-40 min by bus to get to the island. The first day I walked in the streets, I couldn’t remember seeing people walk so fast ever in my life. Whether it was when we asked for directions or just asked someone to take a picture for us, they always obliged, showing the hospitality of Hong Kongers. The warmth of the people also showed amongst the community. I could see that most customers in restaurants were large families, always having supper together so often. Sometimes three or four generations spending time together, bonding. In the parks, elders in the community will practice Tai Chi or other healthy activities together. Hong Kongers are a population that stands together, with strong family values forming the core of their beliefs.

I heard someone say that Hong Kongers live a fast-paced and stressful life, making them overachievers and rude people.
